Introduction

Twinfield online accounting software easily manages all accounting functions, from invoicing to management accounting – for the smallest startup to the largest international group.

Prerequisite(s)

To connect Twinfield with Chift, you need a certified Twinfield application. We strongly recommend using Chift-managed certification:
  • No need for a Twinfield developer account.
  • No certification costs (53 EUR/month saved).
  • Chift creates a dedicated app in your name (your clients see your company during the OAuth2 authorization, not Chift).
  • Certification and maintenance handled entirely by Chift.

Process

Use Chift Certification (recommended for simplicity)
  1. Request dedicated credentials
    • Contact Chift to get a client_id and client_secret linked to your account.
  2. Activate the Twinfield connector and start testing
    • In Chift’s platform, enable the Twinfield connector.
    • Enter your credentials.
    • Your app can be used immediately, but note that API usage is subject to restricted rate limits until certification is finalized.
  3. Reach to your CS manager to start the process of certifacation of your app;
    Approval of certification will take several weeks.
If you still prefer to manage your own Twinfield app, be aware that:
  • Developper account costs 53 EUR/month.
  • Certification can take several weeks.
  • Before certification, API usage is subject to very strict rate limits (only a few requests per minute). For more details, refer to Twinfield’s Developer Portal.
